Affiliate disclosure

Current status

One guide on this site currently includes an affiliate link to JapanesePod101. Japan Cue may earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase after clicking it. No other page contains an affiliate link. The guides are editorial content, not paid reviews.

What may change

This site may include further affiliate links — links that pay a commission if you sign up for or buy something after clicking them. If that happens, it will be at no extra cost to you, and this page will be updated to say so before any such link appears.

How affiliate links are handled

• Any affiliate link would be disclosed on the page it appears on, near the link itself.
• Recommendations would never be made for a product that does not fit the problem the guide is about.
• No claim would be made about a product’s features, price or plans without checking it first.
• Nothing would be described as recommended purely because it pays a commission.

Why this page exists now

Disclosure pages are easier to trust when they exist before there is anything to disclose. This one was published before the first affiliate link was added, so that the site’s position is on record and can be checked against what the pages actually contain.
