What may change

How any future links would be handled

• Any affiliate link would be disclosed on the page it appears on, near the link itself.
• Recommendations would never be made for a product that does not fit the problem the guide is about.
• No claim would be made about a product’s features, price or plans without checking it first.
• Nothing would be described as recommended purely because it pays a commission.

Why this page exists now

Disclosure pages are easier to trust when they exist before there is anything to disclose. This one is published now so that the site’s position is on record and can be checked against what the pages actually contain.
